I watch this chart daily to sense market direction, and today’s snapshot is fairly indicative of the recent daily results.
Observations: new listings are high, price decreases are high, under contract/pending seems strong but offset somewhat by the back on the market, and low volume of sold.
Conclusions: my gut tells me the house is not on fire, for years we’ve complained about lack of inventory and now back to normal levels, maybe the data is telling us prices are out of sync?
